Everything to do with cats

The girls are happy about their new Christmas tree. We are going through the tree in about 6-8 months as they are VERY loved. It had some specific benefits that cats love. The two highest platforms are soft and have a subtle bumper on the sides. The platforms themselves are a little too small to be honest, but the cats are a little smaller than the other kitties so they'll work for a while. I wish the tree had decent platforms with electronic damping. The apartment has been renovated because one of our girls lives to look out the window. Apartments haven't been a hot topic on past trees, but with the view and the new "picture window" (I cut the back to look more like a curtain than a fabric wall), it's all about time in this apartment. I could get a soft bath rug that I could turn into a drawer liner - why not just put it underneath? No one will entertain a hammock basket, despite numerous attempts to lure them into it. Balloon sticks are a nice idea, but nobody cares. The stick is too short, the strap too hard, it just gets in the way. Maybe if it hung on the side and looked more like a fishing rod, it would draw more attention. The same feedback about a rope that is hanging. It's really easy on the go. The bottom hammock is under the window, although that's your favorite feature - nobody uses it (no view = no interest). In general, it is as strong as any other tree, meaning it is not very strong. The platforms are already heeling, I'm less than a month old.
