I've always liked Nikon Coolpix cameras because they don't break like other brands, so I bought this camera despite some bad reviews. I had an older model and wanted to get a new one because the battery compartment on the old one broke (although the camera still works great). It takes good photos and has some well-improved features and options like selecting and deleting multiple photos at once instead of just one. That saves me time. I'm shooting for a local animal shelter's online pet finder and the photos come out sharp and beautiful. No problem. If you get a blurry photo, all you have to do is switch to a setting that works well. "Easy Auto" does not make photos as pretty as the "Portrait" option. There is also a "Pet Photo" option that I will play around with. Overall good price, good photos and videos! Easy to use! Thanks very much!
