These cables look great but stop working after a few months. Their appearance remains good, but they stop working after a few months. They're less durable than Walmart's custom charging cables, which sell at the checkout for $4.99 and $7.99, respectively, and last more than a year. They also charge slower than cheap Walmart cords, so don't believe all the claims about superior conductivity etc. Why should I expect these cords to last as long as my regular household cords? Am I unreasonable if I expect at least a year of use for each cable? Apple cables last for years, but they're outrageously priced. I'll try a different cable and see how long the new one lasts. I bought two of these for $20 and am expecting 5 years from a pair.
