This has been a big purchase for our family and so far it has been worth it. Highly recommended. We were hoping to get an ultra-short-throw projector for under $2,000, but found that if we wanted a projector with the amenities we needed and 4K picture quality, we'd have to spend $2,000-3,000. It's a fairly new product and there aren't many reviews about it, but it had all the options we needed. We are so happy with it. While we're not die-hard visual philes, image quality is excellent. We've been watching Marvel movies on Disney+ in 4K and I'm really noticing details that I didn't notice on my HDTV before. Daytime visibility is pretty good too, we have blinds near the screen but we can't black out the whole room but brightness wasn't an issue. It took me about 15-20 minutes to adjust the picture, set the keystone correction, focus and start watching the movie. We have a 92 inch screen and the projector is about 10 inches from the wall. We have a pretty good router, so all our streams have been pretty error free so far. We need a projector with bluetooth so we can connect our soundbar wirelessly and that was easy. We have to 'pair' them every time we turn them on, it doesn't happen automatically but we don't mind much Internal speakers are pretty good too so I wouldn't say you need external speakers unless you want the full theater experience. The included basic apps are fine, but they don't come with Netflix or Revain Prime, which is why we got a Roku Streaming Stick too. If you're planning on buying this projector, I plan on getting a streaming flash drive as well. However, you need to change HDMI to 2.0 to get 4K quality. We didn't notice and initially all the images were pixelated and buggy. As soon as I read some reviews I changed it to 2.0 and now the streaming and picture quality is up to date. But now we have 2 remotes, one for n in the project and set the input to "roku" and then on the Roku remote. We're not an Android family, we have an iPhone and a Macbook so we couldn't mirror the screen. I heard you can connect an iPhone to a projector via bluetooth. I tried it once, it never connected and I haven't tried it again, but honestly I don't need it. So far this projector has been great and has met all of our home theater needs (sports, movies, shows). Haven't tried to play yet.
