I think it's crazy that some places try to charge for HDMI cables. I did a little research and found articles on the CNET site that support my review here. Check out [.]Digital is a simple and clear digital signal, as long as 1s and 0s get from point A to point B you have a perfect signal. That's why expensive cables are nothing more than cheap cables for 99% of applications. Well, if you have extreme conditions you might have some problems, but for most home entertainment options you will be more than satisfied with this cable and other cables from this manufacturer. I bought 6 different length cables from this manufacturer, spent less than $12 shipping it to my door, all done very well. I bet most buyers pay much more than this price per cable and are told their cables are better. It's like saying smart bottled water is more nutritious than my tap water. Truth? The wire gauge is obviously small, but as I said you don't need a heavy gauge cable when I plug my TV into my cable box which is 6ft away and hasn't been moved for years. If you're happy to overpay, don't buy these cables. If you like things simple and uncluttered, buy a few extra cables. you can afford it
