Review on πŸ–‹οΈ Sakura 38369 10-Piece Blister Card Glaze 3D Glossy Ink Pen Set - Assorted Colors by Carol Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality for fine 3D incomplete no yellow tint

I bought this Sakura 3D Pen Set 38369 for my teenage daughter who loves to draw. She loves using them because she finds they add a subtle 3D quality to her drawings (her friends even noticed the difference without her telling). However, we both think this set definitely needs a yellow/gold pen. Any art kit should include at least some variation on the three primary colors: red, blue, and yellow. Since these pens are more "earthy", a golden hue would be very appropriate - a logical way to round off this set. For primary colors I'd recommend the Sakura 38370 (at the time of writing this it's cheaper now). This is a little disappointing as we weren't looking for such a vibrant palette. Instead, the set includes TWO white pens. White draws clearly and is good for blending and adding extra sparkle. However, the white color (apparently on colored paper) only appears after the ink has dried. These pens give a smoother, thicker line than the cheaper gel pens I've also bought. They come with a tiny plastic tip on the bullet end (under the normal cap to further prevent premature drying). Had a yellowish pen been included instead of the double white it would have been a 5 star rating.
