Review on Recessed Lighting Ultra Thin Downlight Assistant by Josh Reynolds

Update: Removing lights from the app and reinstalling it worked. Rating upgrade to 4 stars. The app installation guide is out of date. I figured out everything in the application except for the remote firmware update. It won't update no matter how many times I try. When they work, they are an excellent source of light. TIP: Test your lights individually with Alexa before creating groups and the like. You may need to uninstall and reinstall the lights in the app for it to work. The first 2 lights worked great. The app recognized them with no problem, as did Alexa. We could control the light in both. After that, Alexa recognized each light but couldn't control it. I removed them from Alexa and restarted. still won't work. I'll remove all the lights and the hub from the Smart Life app and try downloading them all at once and then Alexa. If they don't work, they will be returned. If they don't work as advertised, they're useless. I'm so sad. Note: While every light we've installed works, the packaging is a joke. No protection, the flimsy cardboard arrives crushed and the internal "support" pieces are smashed, broken and not needed.
