I purchased these bulbs for use in the low beam headlights in my 2018 Hyundai Elantra with projection lens headlights to replace the stock halogen bulbs. In short, their lamps literally outperform halogens by a mile. These bulbs emit a stronger light that spreads further and stays stronger in each part of the beam. The color temperature ranges from 6000K to 6300K, which is expected. These bulbs can definitely refresh your car and bring it up to 2020. The beam pattern of these lamps is a bit tricky to get right. These bulbs have an "adjustable" beam that can be a big plus or a big minus from car to car. I had a little trouble getting the template right and it's still not perfect. But even with the beam pattern turned off, it still lasts longer than a halogen bulb. The first pair I ordered had 1 defective bulb. The bulb would flicker in intensity and cause an extremely annoying dashboard backlight every 5 seconds. Luckily my replacement arrived very quickly and the new bulbs worked great. I give this lamp a 4/5 simply because it is a budget lamp. For $35 this lamp works very well. However, it still has some small flaws and is a bit finicky. Would I recommend this to a friend? Of course. I would tell my friend to just save some money and buy a bulb in the $60-$70 range so he can deliver perfect plug and play / perfect beam bulb.
