Will work as an OEM replacement part - 2011 Equinox LT. The original GM OEM plastic ball joint failed while driving in a heavy downpour. Only 68,000 miles on a 2011 Equinox when a GM OEM part failed. Most of the time the car was in the garage. Genuine OEM GM wiper gear is junk. I hope this replacement part is more reliable than the original. Not too difficult to fix. Go to your local auto parts store and buy 6 plastic clips holding the plastic in place which you will need to remove (pry off) to access the broken part. So far so good, used it once when driving about 1 hour/60 miles in light rain.
