Review on πŸ‘’ Stylish Bellivera Sun Hat: Women's Straw Visor with Wide Brim for UV Protection, Beach Summer Vacation, and Easy Packing by Jay Arnold

Structured, well-tailored flip-up hat

I have very long hair that I wear in a messy bun most of the day. I can never wear a hat because the bun doesn't fit. This hat/visor solves that problem. I didn't think it was a "paper" hat (judging by the details of the article). It feels very solid, thick and robust. The weave is textural decorative, with some luster woven into the matte black fibers (this isn't my favorite part; I think I would have preferred a non-lustrous one). The brim of the hat has an attractive scalloped edge. There is some rough band material forming a sweatband on the inside as well as piping along the top edge. I have a small head and had to almost completely overlap the backs/velcro to make it fit my head. . However, it almost brushed the top of my glasses. You can adjust this a bit by sliding it back so it tilts up even more. But if you wear big glasses like me, be aware that this can get in the way a bit. I'm stupid so it took me a while to figure out what the elastic loop on the back of the hat is for. The hat is rolled up neatly and then a rubber band is pulled over it, keeping it in a neat roll. It unfolds without wrinkles or stiffness to be your hat again. Definitely "packaged". You can also use the elastic loop to hang the assembled hat on the hook.

Pros
  • Hands-free work
Cons
  • Not the best
