This monitor is great if you have a small space that can't accommodate a larger monitor. My main reason for getting this is because my old one was, well, old (2007). It wasn't really mine, it was a family member's monitor, but it was so dirty and ugly. There were small stains all over the screen that could not be removed, and the outer frame of the monitor was bent. In the end I decided to just buy a new one and leave the old one alone. Surprisingly this is the first monitor I have bought as all the monitors I have used in the past are from other family members. Every monitor I've been given in the past has had issues, which is probably why they didn't want it. hahaha This monitor has an HDMI port, which made it even easier for me to hook it up. No more DVA and VGI. Oh yeah, this monitor also has speakers if you're curious. I don't need it, but it's a nice added bonus. Finally, the monitor has a display feature I don't remember the name of that basically automatically increases or decreases the brightness of your screen depending on what's on your screen. I know Dynamic is in the name, but yes, this feature. At first I used it but then it got too annoying so I turned it off. I don't know how good this monitor is at gaming as my PC isn't exactly a gaming PC, but I play old PC games from time to time and everything seems fine. As I said above, my monitor is connected via HDMI, so I can't comment on the quality of the VGA screen. But overall it's a great replacement for a 13-year-old monitor. I have a small computer area so this monitor is perfect. A large monitor does not fit. I'll make sure this monitor doesn't end up like the last one. In good hands :)
