I bought this for my boyfriend who had a terrible razor burn. I watched my father shave. I don't recall this being a painful experience for him, but he did use a shaving bowl. He applied this cream to his face and it looked luxurious. So I looked for shaving bowls. I liked this one because it was self contained, didn't take up much counter space, and was a good price. He tried it and liked it! Worth every penny! This gave him a smoother shave without irritation. The razor burn is gone and so is the pain. Can't recommend enough! And another bonus was that the quality for the price was more than I expected.
