It's better to look for an alternative than to buy the thing. Pure garbage.
And here it is again, the second time this drive has failed after 6 months of use. Suddenly the hard drive is not recognized and reports that the data is corrupt. As? Since nothing was written to it for several months, it was turned off more often than it was turned on. I lost over 800 gigabytes of data again. I suspect this product is either fake or "outdated", neither of which is advertised. I won't buy anymore. With an SSD from another manufacturer, I reject Toshiba.
