Non 50ft True LED - 16 inch NON LED

I measured my room several times. 12x12 (11 11/12x 11 11/12 is a bit shy). I figured I just need at least 48 feet and I'd be safe. The package itself is marked (750cm x 1 x 0.2cm) x 2, which equals 295.276 inches. (24.60 feet) which makes 49.1/5 feet, I'm pretty sure that "50 feet" is about 4 inches of wires and connectors at both ends of the strip, so that's about 16 inches of the Strips NO LEDs. I didn't want the unsightly wires/connectors on the end, so I cut them off both strips. I cut the first strip along the gold connections (as recommended for LED strips) but in doing so I lost about 6" of strip (3 bulbs) and 4" of connecting wire. I decided to cut the other where the strip ends and the wires start. The moral of the story is that after winding in the room, the cable length on the power supply was insufficient to connect to both tapes. I was able to trim the end of a strip but then the light still wouldn't come on. throughout the room, which again, given the length anyway, spans about 16 inches with no actual lighting. Basically, even if I didn't cut anything, this "50 foot" light bar wouldn't cover the entire 48 foot space. PROS: I'll vouch for the adhesive strip on it was great. I didn't have to force it to glue and it came off easily but with resistance when I had to reposition it. All the lights came on and the light and dark settings were good. I didn't try to peel it off. CONS: The adhesive was so good that I now had to repaint the entire trim because it peeled off the paint when I removed it. There's still some tape left, which I'll get to another time. I recommend being patient during the removal process. The 1st picture shows end to end after cutting the connecting wires. The 2nd photo shows the gap between the strips. The 3rd photo shows how long it would take if I hadn't cut off part of the strip myself. It could probably be plugged into a power supply if I left the 6" strip on, but there would still be incomplete lighting in that corner.
