I have tried the towel warmer on a variety of materials including glass, porcelain, granite, ceramic tile, painted wood and marble. It sticks well to glass. In order for the suction cups to work, first turn the two round discs counterclockwise as far as they will go. Then remove the plastic wrap from each suction cup, exposing the stickiness. This will help the suction cup stick temporarily while you install the towel rail. Press each suction cup firmly against the glass while turning the circular disk clockwise until it clicks into place. Then pull on the towel bar to make sure it is firmly attached to the glass. Then I put the bath towel on the towel rail. It's been a few days and the towel rail is still stuck. For other surface materials, one or both suction cups will come loose within 30 minutes to an hour. Overall, I like the towel rail. Serves my purpose and looks nice. But I would only recommend it if you're going to attach it to glass, such as. B. a glass shower cubicle. Update: The towel warmer fell off today, about 8.5 months after I installed it. It was correctly mounted on the glass and only a bath towel was hung on it. I reinstalled it and it seems to stay the way it was before.
