I bought this product to get rid of the pet smell in my ferret's room. It didn't help eliminate or reduce the smell and I clean his room/cage twice a day. I figured it might take a few days for it to fully air out. After using this for a few days I can now smell a burning sensation coming from it and I can't figure out why. I checked the filter and the rest of the unit, nothing seemed out of order but the distinct burning smell emanating from it made me give it up. I don't want my pet inhaling this smell, especially since I have no idea where it's coming from. Too much hassle sending it back and I've already thrown the box away. But I am annoyed that I chose this brand as I had never heard of it before than the brand I was familiar with. Now I have to buy another one. Update: After I wrote this initial review, the seller contacted me and replaced my original at no additional cost to me. I got a new one and it works as expected. great customer service and I recommend.
