I love my Ergotron sit/stand converter! Before deciding on this one, I tried different brands. The biggest benefit for me was the easy to use FRONT levers to raise and lower the unit. Many other models have levers on the back of the unit and customer reviews have stated how difficult it is for them to reach the entire unit when they need to raise or lower the unit. I bought the wider Ergotron and I can tell you I don't want to reach back every time I want to raise or lower my machine. Having them right in front of you is the only way! In addition, the very wide lever design makes it easy to grab, unlock and relock. Another unique Ergotron design that I really like is the way the entire unit rises and falls straight up and down. It does not expand outwards and takes up more space than some other devices. These two features alone were worth the extra price for this product to me.
