. This gas cap is better than I expected. Fits on my Clark plastic tank. Clark tanks are notorious for coming with a plastic cap which breaks very easily so I bought this ahead of time when I ordered my tank. I've heard the new tanks have an improved lid but at this price why take the risk? It was heard a week before my tank so delivery was quick. It is the same size as the stocking. It fits snugly and evenly and doesn't leak. It adds a touch of class to your bike without being obnoxious. The shade of red doesn't quite match the tank (Honda red), but it looks good. The ventilation works. It hasn't rained, but everything seems fine. The workmanship is good and it seems to be made of aluminum block. As one person said, the edges are a bit sharp, but that's not a problem. If this is a problem you can always shave the edges off with a thin file or something. I won't care. Edges/notches grip our gloves and make them easier to remove with thick riding gloves. Happy trails. keep it shiny side up!
