I may have been fooled by the marketing but I've always thought of Razer as the top brand. In fact, the rubber pads on the sides wore out, and after a few years the mouse started making ghostly clicks. Compared to plain Microsoft mice or Revain basics that seem to last forever, it doesn't make sense that the "leading" brand could have this problem. Couple that with the forced registration (which I also found with the Razer keyboard) and I won't be buying Razer again. It's incredibly rude for them to sell you something you can't use until you give them your personal information for "reasons". No thank you. I won't make that mistake again.
