I wanted to paint the night sky in one of the rooms in my apartment. After applying a base coat of dark blue house paint to the concrete deck and drywall, I used white paint from a craft store to make the stars. I was disappointed that it lacked depth so I searched YouTube for ideas and found Art Sherpa. After watching a video about the Galaxy Brush I ordered it and used a large filament brush. I took the craft paint and mixed it with some Flotrol from the hardware store, it thins the thick craft paint without diluting it with water. I quickly tested the brush on the canvas to see how to use it and then painted the entire ceiling. I blended the galaxy brush for the small spots and then the regular brush I already had for the big spots; Having very high 12ft ceilings I was initially concerned that the Galaxy Brush spots would be too small but it wasn't, it turned out to be exactly what I wanted! The Galaxy Brush did a quick job on the ceiling because the color can be applied both close and far. In some places I managed to get 4 to 5 feet. After that, I went back to the ceiling with a thick, grainy color called Glow (Green), which I applied to large patches of various sizes using a baby medicine dropper. I like the result! Photos do not convey this. I have a ceiling that looks great during the day and glows at night. Usage Tips: - The Galaxy brush will splatter, make sure you have painted clothes on and cover the walls and floor with it. "The consistency of the color is also a crucial factor. If it's too thin you'll get sloppy lines, if it's too thick it won't go very far. Depending on how you click on the threads, you'll get different effects by releasing them little by little or all at once. You will get different results. , and also whether you pull it back up or lower the brush down, how far and how you hold the brush itself, etc. Play around with it. I felt like I overdid it in a few places, but I just painted over some of those areas with a darker base color and it all looked fine. I am very satisfied with this brush and can recommend it.
