Like many of the reviews here, I received these specifically to extend the cable on my Oculus Rift. It worked about 80% of the time when used with it, but with a constant crackle in the audio and occasional glitches in the signal, which was enough for games like Beat Saber to have very weird crashes where the graphics would recover, but the game would remain a crash. . . The Rift worked well without it during testing. After reading some advice online from people with similar issues, I replaced this cable with the USB 2.0 extension cable that came with my third breakage sensor and I had none of the issues I had with it and it works great with that Sensor. TL:DR, fine if you only need the 3.0 extension for data transfer, but it doesn't work with VR. If that's your use case, just get the 2.0 extension.
