I've been using these brushes around my gum line for years. I prefer to dip my brush in mouthwash as I brush each quadrant of my mouth. Oh what a difference, my dentist is very happy and so am I. It reduces tartar build-up along the gum line, my gums don't bleed when I brush my teeth, and my gums don't sag. I quit for a few months, don't ask why, and my next cleanse was a disaster. I highly recommend this item, it helps me save my teeth. I use this with a vibrating electric toothbrush and aggressive dental floss. This is not a replacement for them.
