Like other reviewers, I had issues with this tape guide. I'm familiar with the pulling/twisting sideways when applied and it worked great for a while. The carrier then took shape of its own accord. I caught it early and was able to straighten it out. Everything went well for a while, then again. This time it was irreparable. I really needed to finish a project, so I got in my car and drove 32 miles to the nearest art supply store. Luckily I had a 40% coupon and bought a refill that promised to make everything perfect with this one. I drove home 32 miles, put the additive in the dispenser and after two uses the backing and adhesive folded in half. After I lost my religion. As I turned the air blue and cried in frustration, I took ^@%*! completely disassembled, cut off the part used and folded in half and taken everything off the take-up reel. I removed enough adhesive from the backing tape to attach it to the receiver, popped the refill back into the dispenser, and used it again. Tombow Xtreme's adhesive properties are good, but you don't have to be frustrated or overpriced to use it. I won't be buying this again unless Tombow repairs his dispenser.
