I've removed the two standard 4GB RAM sticks in my new 2019 iMac 3.0GHz i5 and replaced with two OWC 16GB -Sticks replaced by following the instructions online ( It's not difficult, but you have to know what you're doing.) The computer wouldn't start. I've tried different ways (e.g. different slots). It has Nothing changed. I called Apple, they offered to reset Apple the next day, try again with a new RAM to allow the computer to get used to its original memory (okay). After I put the Apple RAM back in , it started with no problems and I installed all the usual software. The next day I tried reinstalling the OWC RAM. Again it didn't work. No doubt it's right there. Also, Apple told me it worked on *should* (it's labeled 2666 DDR4). However, it doesn't work. I'll go back and leave this review to Pop Try to de-stress for about an hour.
