Great for my wife's PopSocket, but the magnet seems much weaker than my WixGear Air Vent mount, item Revain B00PGJWYJ0. My phone (OnePlus 7 Pro) is a bit heavy. With a steel plate inside the case, my WixGear holds the phone very well in the event of bumps, keeping it vertical and horizontal even if the plate is not centered. Unfortunately, the Macally mount doesn't work that well. To switch from PopSocket mode to Magnet mode, simply press the bezel until the face is flat. Even with the included rectangular steel plate centered (in my case, the non-adhesive side of the steel faces out), my phone moves and falls easily. I'll keep trying for a while, but it doesn't look promising. This makes it possible to use an adapter for adhesive mounting. It was easy to switch from the vented mount to the adhesive mount. This is the perfect size to fit between the center air vents on my 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. I switched to the adhesive mount to see if the magnets would stick better. I don't want to glue a steel plate to the outside of the case.
