I love all the different features this radio has to offer. If you don't have batteries, you can charge the internal battery manually or with a solar panel. It also comes with a USB power cable to charge the internal battery when you're out of sunlight and don't want to hand crank. You also have the option of using 3 AA batteries. So there are many options out there. There is a bottle opener and a flashlight. The radio has a headphone jack for private listening. There's also a USB port that can be used to charge other electronic devices in the same place as the headset plug and power plug. The radio is equipped with a weather warning and an SOS signal. This is a pretty good compact device for the dollar and will come in handy in the event of a power outage. I am very happy with my purchase!
