Review on Cake Drums Round 10 Inches - (Gold by Brian Whitmore

I give these pie drums 3 stars because while I like the look of these 8 inch pies, the pie drum itself is not very good quality. I usually only use one cake drum (more than my cakes) then I work on my cake and clean the cake drum of any crumbs or frosting. However, I have to be extra careful when doing this because I tried to scrape the excess icing (white crumb) off the cake drum with a tissue paper and there was gold paint on my tissue paper. That's when I noticed the paint was peeling off the cake drum itself. I would recommend using a thin/plain cake drum the same size as your cake to handle the cake and then just layering (gluing) it on top. "chic" cake drum.
