I'm 5'3", 125 lbs., 37-28-36. I ordered the small and it fit; however, it was very short waisted. In the photos, the waist seam appears to hit at the waist, but on me, it hit at the rib cage - too high for the natural waist and too low to be an empire. Although it fit, it was very unflattering and I chose to return it. The fabric is soft and lightweight, but not see-through. I ordered the Watermelon Red, which is a bright pink-red that is great for summer. The dress was a little shorter than I expected. I'm not tall and it was 3-4 inches above my knee. I would have been fine with the shorter length, but because the waist was so high, it looked as though I was wearing a dress that I had outgrown. Otherwise, I loved everything about this dress and suggest you try it if you're on the fence. Someone with a smaller bust might find that the waist hits in a more flattering place.
