Review on πŸ”§ 7-Inch Pumice Tipped Soldering Clamp with Rotating Feature by Michael Zambrano

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Cheap. not worth the price.

The rotating base just fell off. The glue looked like glue from a glue gun. It came off pretty easily. The surfaces were not originally prepared for bonding. The parts were sanded and reglued with epoxy. The thumbscrew used to attach the third arm to the base is too short and doesn't close far enough to clamp it to the base. I need to get a longer screw from a hardware store before I can use it. In general I can use it after the repair, but I shouldn't, especially for the price I paid for it. If you can find another one, buy it, otherwise make your own.
