Bought about a month ago and just had time to install. After a day of use I can't say I noticed a difference. Although it should be fully charged and ready to go, after a few uses including car washing, showering and other activities I decided to regenerate the device as the car was full of hard water stains that I would have to walk through. Car wash to clean it. I purchased 4 lbs of regeneration table salt per the directions and a regeneration and filter kit. For regeneration, the kit contains only 2 pounds of salt. Do I have to stop and restart in the middle of the regeneration? After the regeneration, I ran water through the kitchen faucet for about 10 minutes to remove the milky white color from the water. I showered again and again didn't notice any difference in the water. I'll keep trying to get better results, but for now I'm recommending an alternative system.
