We use these slings as slings to transfer my sister from bed to wheelchair etc. The slings available at the medical supply store are chunky and grey. They caused additional arthritis pain in my hands and I found them very difficult to use. NOW ATTENTION: I DO NOT RECOMMEND the use of these straps for anyone. My sister is light and can stand and turn just by guiding her hand, but it takes a firm grip to take a step. We love that they come in so many amazing colors and now they have one in each of them. They look a lot better than the gray belt from the medical supply store.
