Bought the £15 version for my wife for her birthday. She sleeps on her back weighing 120 pounds and is extremely sensitive to sleep disorders. She didn't like it. She felt devastated. She was afraid of hurting herself making the bed. She assured me it had to be a 20lb blanket because it was very difficult to move (even though the tag said it was a 15lb blanket). She was also concerned that it was a queen size comforter and she had a king size bed. So I took it for my bed. I slept better than I have in months. Every night I would toss and turn and wake up and lie there for hours. Now I sleep 7 hours. I think it's great. She decided to buy a £10 blanket elsewhere. Still too heavy. We flipped it sideways so it was only on her bottom half. Now she likes new things. In short, a weighted blanket can help you sleep better. Buy one and try it. If you don't like it, return it. The caveat is that if you're buying it as a gift, don't buy it in advance and use up most of the return period.
