Review on Winix AM80 True HEPA Air Purifier with Washable AOC Carbon Filter, Dark Grey, Large - 360sq ft Room Capacity by Stephanie Wilson

In my experience, Winix has poor quality control and customer service. I wouldn't buy these air filters if I knew what problems they cause. Last September I bought four of these air filters directly from the Winix website (at a discount). When they arrived, three of the four units were out of service. They turn on for a few seconds and then turn off (see attached video). I contacted Winix and they promised to replace the faulty units and pay shipping to send the faulty units back. It took about 6 weeks to receive the new air filters. I received only two replacement units and no instructions or stickers for returning defective air filters. I've tried several times to contact Winix by phone and email but never got a reply. I ended up calling the credit card company and requesting a refund for the remaining defective unit. (still pending) Replacement air filters appear to be working well, but the last remaining original air filter is now having intermittent issues where it randomly turns off.
