Review on ๐Ÿšจ Blue 36 LED Rooftop Mini Bar Strobe Lights - High Intensity Emergency Beacon for Construction Trucks, Snow Plowing Cars, Postal Vans by Edwin Black

It's still new but seems to be working very well.

I bought this unit to replace a 3 year old unit that is very similar in looks, features and design. The old unit worked very well but showed signs of age and use so I figured it was time to replace it. This new unit looks well designed and even better looking. It's probably 50% brighter than the old one and the light is very visible in a full 360 degree circle of light when viewed from any angle. The old block ONLY worked best when looking directly at the turn signal. Going past the turn signals it was a lot less bright. I've only used it for one night so far so I'll update this review later. Pros: Very bright for the money. Lighter than my old similar block. best value My old unit is almost $60, this one is only $45 (and you can find it cheaper if you look around). Good magnetic contact to the roof. It should handle highway speeds just as well as my old block. Offers many more flash patterns and remembers the last used flash pattern. Easy-to-use on/off switch and pattern selection buttons. It seems protected from water/rain. (Will update as I use it more. We still get a lot of rain.) Cons: My old unit had a twisted cord. This one is straight. So I have to deal with an extra cable that's in the way. Twisted cord seems to suit my needs better. The rubber mounts that protect the car roof from metal magnets are a bit flimsy. Much thinner than the rubber sleeves on my old device. I'm afraid they can wear down with use and age. (Time will tell.) But overall I'm very happy with this new flasher. The brightness is much better and I feel like I can be seen better when I need to check spot lights late at night when driving through truck stops and want to make sure I'm seen. I'm not sure you can find a much better flash for the price. I will update as needed to report new developments. Update: I've had this device for 2 years now. It still runs like new and has suffered little wear. In fact, it's 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a week on my machine. most of the time in the sun and/or in bad weather. Everything without major or no signs of use or aging. It's worth the price.
