This belt is made from a very durable piece of leather and has a beautiful solid brass buckle! I've been wearing it for a few months and it's only now softening up a bit - as you'd expect from a real leather belt. I agree with other reviewers who said the size is small - definitely order 1 or 2 sizes up from your usual waist size. Leather stretches over its lifespan, so make sure it's not *too* big to get started! Would recommend this belt to anyone who wants something strong and durable.
