I've just upgraded from S4 to S6 and based on previous experiences I thought it would be a good idea to buy a case BEFORE I get the tablet; if you disagree with a cracked screen, random ringing, or an explainable scratch because these devices are made of GLASS. Received this case about a week before receiving the device, it looked solid and came in the right packaging. I really liked the idea of the retractable kickstand as it did a lot of damage to my S4 trying to prop it up with something that's bloody glass and slippery to hold. Even if you just put the tablet on the bed, it's only a matter of time before it slips and falls on the floor, because this glass slips and slides on any surface // REVIEW. durable, shockproof protective case. Has the success rate of using this biometric fingerprint scanner dropped to less than 10% and I almost always had to enter a password instead of using it because my chances were growing. So I disabled this feature. I didn't notice any problems using the stylus. On the 3rd day the stand started to fail. It just falls out, it doesn't snap because there's nothing stopping it from popping open. I figured it was only a matter of time before it came loose, but I got creative and hot glued a very thin magnet and piece of metal top and back. Footrest so it stays in place and you have to slide it out by hand. The outlining bumper doesn't allow for an L-shaped entry for the USB C charging port. I'm only mentioning this because I recently bought a couple of Type-C chargers that were L-shaped and didn't make much of a difference. At week 3 the screen protector started to look rough around the edges and this week it started to gradually peel off making this item unusable for me. I have to give this product one star because the consumer was supposed to use it for more than 3-4 weeks but it was a pretty cheap buy. Must get a case to avoid screen cracks, dents and scratches. Even if your device has a tiny crack or dent, even if it's on the back, even the screen, you can't exchange it hoping you have insurance, which I didn't do but do now.
