Bought this cable last year because of the great price and good reviews. Stupid of me, didn't try to use it until recently. I connected my Dell laptop to a Dell external monitor and immediately noticed that the text on the external monitor (not the laptop) appears blurry. It looked like someone had taken a finger and smeared wet ink to the right. I thought it was the monitor settings, the driver, and finally I thought the monitor was bad. But then I decided to try a different cable and the external monitor was fine. So it was the cable. It's too late to return and although the description says it has a lifetime warranty, you have to pay for the return postage. The cable was only about $5, not worth it. I just bought a new shorter cable with free return shipping.
