I have a MacBook Pro 13" that was brand new in May 2020. It replaced an MBP that was over 8 years old. I wanted a generic protective case. the cover on the old one I've proven myself in hard use for years. I ordered a new one but it didn't fit. It took a while for others to get used to the change with the new thinner but not as thin laptop. This one fits. Read Read Read the description carefully and check the exact model number for your machine.Three parts - top, bottom, keyboard cover - all fit and don't interfere with any function.The bottom cover has many slots for air circulation.But this cover is very good thin and I suspect this is mostly cosmetic. In fact, I like the keyboard cover better than the "bare keyboard" without the cover. And it all goes with the case i n form of an envelope which I first bought.
