This is definitely a high quality product. Due to the protective nature of the boot, you lose some sensitivity when shifting and braking, but I think that will come. They're so comfortable when you put them on and the way they snap into place makes it easy to get the firmness you're looking for. When you put them on, they have a large Velcro area that you use to first tighten the boot and then secure it even more with the snaps. I paid about $400 for the boots and feel I got a good discount for the quality.
