As it turned out, I used cheap knockoffs of Xbox gamepads and older original versions (for example, from Xbox 360) for a long time, incorrectly assuming that the differences between gamepads are like the differences between mice: highly contextual, and ultimately a matter of habit and convenience rather than any concrete factors (since I only use PC and have never been particularly interested in consoles). But when I got this gamepad and held it in my hands, a delightful tingle ran down my spine, and goosebumps covered my skin. Imagine my shock and adoration when I discovered that the triggers work in all 360 degrees, rather than the standard 8. If you're debating whether or not to invest the money on a new gamepad, I'd say it's worth it. The control method becomes lot more enjoyable, and the controller itself is much more responsive. The convenience is guaranteed, but I can't say how the performance is affected. As a side note, the Type-C port makes wired connections just as easy as wireless ones, and it works flawlessly with Windows 10.
