Review on ๐Ÿผ Step2 Panda Climber: Engaging Outdoor Toddler Activity Playset in Tan/Red/Yellow/Blue by Andres Black

Revainrating 3 out of 5

My son just turned 3 and this "hype " wasn't enough to keep his attention - too little.

Given to my son for his birthday - 3 years old. I would like to start with my son being 3 years old and 5% tall BUT he has very good motor skills. Based on the recommended age and reviews of this climber, we figured it would serve us as a backyard playground this summer, and then my daughter could use it. He came down the hill one day - very excited to play it. Coming down a whopping 1.5 foot slide (about 10 inches longer than his legs) he had an expression like "Is that all?" He was quite surprised. I know he wanted to enjoy it, but there was no thrill for him. This slide is pretty small - it's actually not as big as you might think. If your kid goes to a full-size playground and knows what a "real" slide is, it probably won't help. I feel really bad because his birthday present was a big disappointment (mostly for me :() and I spent a lot of money on ONE present. :/ It was pretty easy to build. Quality materials - just not for his age group I would say climbing/crawling/just starting to walk, NOT 3 to 5 years old.

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • I won't say anything
