The design of the iPad case is very beautiful. I get a lot of compliments for that. I haven't bought my Apple Pencil yet but I bought this case because the pen holder is on an internal mount and I hope it fits well. It seems like. The iPad 10.2 7th gen itself fits, the corners are snug, but the right edge doesn't fit the iPad as snugly as the left. I can turn it upside down and it won't detach from the case. It worries me a little, but I haven't had any problems with it. The inner lining is very smooth. It initially held the iPad very well, but after a few weeks and lots of fingerprints/use later, it slips a bit. I suppose oily fingers could be the culprit, but that can easily be cleaned up. Overall it's a good thing.
