Arrived with faults in the product

I cannot test this product for warmth, comfort or softness as it is brand new and is now being laundered but I was disappointed to find faults in it. I understand anything can happen, so I'm hoping this is a separate issue. We've discussed a refund/replacement but believe it was likely an accident - we don't see any discoloration, signs of punctures or other signs of infection so we're hoping the hot wash will remove any remaining solids.
