UPDATED: Please read the updateYou get what you pay for! Two good cables, similar to real Apple cables! The update will be in 1 month, I really hope they don't break like my other cables. Update: Not only are they both "broken" but the first one no longer loads. , and the second almost exploded. After charging my iPhone on the second charger for about an hour (after about two weeks of normal normal use), about to turn it off after charging the phone, I came back to find that it was MELTING. I don't mean recklessly, I mean this sucker was HOT and deformed as shown in the photos, I had it plugged straight into the outlet and my laptop was being charged from a different plug in the same outlet. No warping or problems with my other charger, so my outlet is fine. Whatever is made out of IS is malleable and I worry if I let it sit any longer it would catch fire, the heat levels are insane. As also pictured, the part you connect it to was hot and the plastic around it melted to reveal the wires. Also very important considering I only left it on the table for about an hour. I suspect it happened slowly and any insulation or plastic that was in it eventually wore out (after only two weeks) and this thing really started to be heard. God forbid I leave him alone and my house burns down. Very disappointed. Pay the extra money (seriously, only about $3-6) and get an Apple-certified charger direct from Apple.
