I am writing this in hopes of saving someone else from what I have been through with this cleanser SKIN - oily, dehydrated, clogged pores, maybe 1-2 pimples a month (if any). NOT SENSITIVE (not at all) I bought this to get the dirt out of my pores (blackheads on blackheads) and hopefully help my dehydrated skin. Here's what happened: Day 1: OCM for 5 min. Much dirt was removed from the pores. The skin looks great. Day 2: Use makeup remover before cleaning with water-based cleanser. The skin still looks great. Day 3: Same as Day 2 ^ Day 4: This is where the problems start. I wake up with bumps all over my face. clusters. Some white heads. Some skin color. I almost never break out and never like it. cleaning oil stopped. Return to your normal skin care routine. Apply BP to the bumps (to get rid of my occasional pimples overnight every time). Day 5: More bumps. Chin, nose and forehead (the areas I focused on when applying oil) are COVERED. More BP. Day 6: More hits. Old bumps don't go away. I'm starting to panic. More BP. Day 7: see Day 6 ^ Day 8: (TODAY) I'm finally seeing a slight improvement in my buds after rigorous use of BP and thorough hydration. I know it was a cleansing oil because the clusters showed up. I'm writing this for those who are currently suffering from a face full of bumps (closed comedones I think) a few days after an oil cleanse: 1. OCM isn't for everyone.2. It may take time, but your skin will improve and the bumps will disappear. Hold tight. I wanted this to work so badly and I know it will come as a miracle to some, but be aware that for others it may do more harm than good.
