They work very well. I put them in all my shoes and would buy them again. In the Seattle summer, they're easy to "charge up," just put by the window where the sun is shining, and you're good to go. I flip them over the next day to fully charge again (I still don't understand how to charge but it works for me). BUT beware of cats! I have two cats and one of them loves to take bags and bury them in her litter box. I went insane when I only found 7 bags and wondered if I had donated the 8th bag. When I cleaned out Betty's litter box, I thought she had a lot of poo. Turns out she buried the bag and pooped on it. Now I only keep my shoes in the closet (the doors are too heavy for the cats or the ninja would come in).
