I hate trying new dog or cat food for my pets. But lately my Boston Terrier Higgles has had skin problems and had to lose weight due to a knee problem. She's not overweight, but the vet wants her to lose weight so her knees get as much rest as possible. This sent me on a search for places to eat. I figured with this Mix Yourself product I could add more water and put more in her tummy to make her feel full. The same principle as drinking a glass of water before a meal. Luckily, Giggles isn't allergic to chicken, so I tried force chicken first. It is excellent. Easy and uncomplicated. You love this food. My other Boston Terrier, Rabbit, inhales food, but this one requires me to use a puzzle bowl to slow him down. The best part, of course, is the high quality, pure food ingredients they use. But the best thing for me is the smell. NO MORE SMELLY DOG FOOD! Dry, Force smells like a bag of chicken soup or Thanksgiving. Beef Grain Free, Love, smells like roasted apple ribs. In earnest. I decided on a beef with grain recipe for my hardy Boston and my older Chihuahua, who has no teeth - he was a lifesaver - and now only eats soft foods. Moe the chihuahua chokes on water and vomits. So it's hard work keeping this little 4 pound dog hydrated. But with Honest Kitchen I can make soup out of his food and he's much better hydrated without gagging! Every flavor of dog food I've tried has been a 100% hit at my house. Grain In is even better than any canned food I've fed my dogs before, such as Blue. Feeding my dogs is no longer a chore but a pleasure. No more stuffing your nose or stinking up the fridge with a half-empty can of dog food. Make exactly what you need, every time. I have hot water on request, but when we went on a trip, a cup of microwaved water was warm enough to mix with dry in 45 seconds. Light. I decided to add a little more water than was needed for rehydration. You can often see whole chunks of vegetables, fruits, and other pieces. Last bonus?
