Didn't live up to expectations

Having bought and loved their black gel pens I was pleased to find that I can now buy their reds and pinks in small quantities. I used to only be able to find batches of 100 gel pens, which is too many gel pens of the same color for one person. On paper, you have to look and really focus to figure out what color you're seeing: is it pink? Or is it red. The pink isn't exactly pink, but more of a pinkish-purple bordering closely on red.
