Review on πŸ”΄ Master the Redness with Maybelline Studio Master Redness Control by Kim Lane

Comparable (or better) expensive primers

Now that I'm teaching through the zoom, I wanted the camera to look finished. lol. I winced when I bought my regular $35 foundation, which I like but don't LOVE. So I decided to try both the clear and green versions of this primer. For comparison I put transparent on one side and green on the other. Green sets differently than a clear primer - my expensive primer and this primer create a sort of silky smooth (silicone) base. The green has become creamier. Green slightly removed the redness. I hardly ever use makeup, so I just smudged with loose powder. Here I was surprised. Both worked better than my $35 primer. The powder didn't settle on my wrinkles on either side of the face, but especially on the "green" side. Who knew cheaper things would beat expensive ones? It looked pretty cool on camera too, and I noticed a subtle difference between the "green" side and the transparent side (I looked less tired on the "green" side). i am sold Good luck Maybelline!
