Embellishing time

I've made pom poms before so I knew what to do but my husband didn't know and the instructions provided weren't enough as they didn't explain the need to remove the thread and then tied again so the finished pompom will have a rope to hang it from. Threading the ribbon through the pre-cut "Happy Birthday" lettering was a tedious task and there were only three dangling "tassel" decorations in the kit (looks like a lot in the picture). Expect to spend about an hour playing around with this kit.
